I did a plein air painting of the theater in downtown Burbank a few months ago. It was very rough and sat unfinished on the easel. Usually I would study a photo from the scene to sharpen up the painting and help the composition, but I neglected to take a photo that day. A few weeks ago, I was in the area and took a quick photo with my phone. Using the photo as reference, I finished the painting enough that I will post it here.

A painted cityscape in an illustrative style by Oscar Will, a yellow theater on the left with a ticket sign and marquees, on the right storefronts and windows with balconies above them, in the distance palm trees line the red and blue street that splits the scene into the sun-lit distance.
