Back at the Mayor’s Park in Glendale

Hello,

This is the fourth painting I’ve created here en plein air at the Mayor’s Bicentennial Park in Glendale California. The scene is the bushes, trees, and the little bridge in the long shadows of early morning or late afternoon. This composition is in a sideways “V”, which is designed to lead the viewer’s eye across and down. Every time I paint I learn something, this proves that when the fundamentals are solid the rest comes together well.
