Today I painted en plein air at the Deukmejian Nature Center in Glendale, California. It was sunny and not too hot outside. There is a small grass area there with a pepper tree and some benches that would be a good location for a picnic. A family of rabbits came out to nibble the grass. There were many types of birds in the area, including the native quail! A whole family of seven quail carefully made their way across the grass. It was awesome!
