This is the final mutation of my painting of the lake at Ernest E Debs regional park in Los Angeles. The first layer of the painting was in an impressionist style, with realistic colors but not a lot of detail. Next the black outline was more defined and colors were solidified for an illustrative appearance. Lastly, I added the dots, which gives the painting movement and unique color in my own pointillist style.
