This morning I did not venture far for my plein air painting. Literally I walked down the street and set up at the corner. I found a good spot where I could see the road disappearing down the hill, the mountains beyond, and an interesting house on the corner. People from the neighborhood stopped by to see, it was probably not a common sight! I finished before noon, which was good because it was getting very hot and the back of my legs were slightly burnt 🥵.

  1. Always good to find a subject close to home. I find I have to venture further and further for new material.
